At GRACC, we are committed to providing equal housing opportunities for all individuals and families. We proudly support and strictly adhere to the Fair Housing Act and all applicable federal, state, and local laws that prohibit housing discrimination.

 

Our goal is to treat every prospect, applicant, and member with respect, fairness, and professionalism, regardless of their background or personal circumstances.

Our Commitment to Fair Housing

 

We do not discriminate in housing-related transactions—including leasing, advertising, showing, renting, or managing properties—on the basis of:

  • Sex

  • Familial status

Accessibility and Accommodations

We welcome requests from individuals with disabilities for reasonable accommodations or modifications that enable equal access to housing. We evaluate each request in a fair, timely, and respectful manner.

How We Apply These Principles

 

We market and lease all available rooms in a manner that ensures equal access and opportunity to all prospective resident members.

 

Our application screening criteria are applied equally to every applicant and focus solely on objective factors.

 

Reasonable accommodation and modification requests are evaluated and implemented in accordance with the law to ensure accessibility for individuals with disabilities.

 

Our Board members are required to attain training in Fair Housing compliance and ongoing education and policy review to remain current with evolving laws and standards. Our staff are required to attain training in Fair Housing. Our members also are provided with periodic training on Fair Housing compliance.
