What's FORK?

One way we collectively keep costs down is by maximizing savings on food and basic household necessities through our FORK program. Through the superpower of bulk purchasing we collectively reduce the costs on those items for all members. To learn more about FORK, click here.

What is Cooperative Housing?

Shared Contribution

Members contribute time, effort, skills, talents and passions toward making a difference in completing tasks and projects which maintain our home, run our organization, build our community and promote our LiveCooperatively message.

Shared Governance

We work together to making decisions on managing everything there is to get done and get along with each other well.

Shared Community

Cooperative housing naturally builds a supportive, close-knit community.
We gather for dinner, member appreciation, authentic relating Heart Circle, movie night, game gatherings, bonfires, book club, yoga group, and many other creative community building and engaging endeavors.

GRACC is a Group Equity Housing Cooperative with property held by our nonprofit organization. We do not have a landlord in the traditional sense, which cuts out the landlord profit motive, keeping rent deeply affordable.

Our house was built in 1854 and is historically known as the Hollister House, after Harvey J Hollister, a capitalist who purchased this homestead at the time when it was the only house on Fulton Street hill.
