Our Community Impact

Cooperative Housing is Affordable Housing
 and much more!

The "circle pines" emblem is associated with co-ops world-wide to symbolize resilience, endurance, sustainability, and the ongoing cycle of life and pursuit of community and cooperation.

We are Creating Housing that is Affordable

Our housing costs below market rates.

GRACC has provided affordable housing to more than 190 individuals since 2012 Serving the housing needs of low-income residents is key to our mission.

More than 77% of resident members are below the 80% AMI (Area Median Income).

By making cooperative housing available to a wide range of people, we are fostering a more stable community in areas dominated by homes owned by absentee landlords.

We strive to be Environmental Stewards

We strive for energy efficiency, find creative ways to reduce consumption and waste, and educate our members and neighbors about the importance of sustainable practices.

In 2023, we began dedicating a part of our grounds to pollinator-friendly plantings. And since our very beginning we have enjoyed bountiful harvests from gardening.
