Apply to become a resident member of GRACC

GRACC offers affordable cooperative housing in the Heritage Hill neighborhood, located on and near local bus lines, close to Grand Rapids Community College, Aquinas College and not far from the GVSU downtown campus, and close to the variety of downtown Grand Rapids venues. Application Process:

1. After you submit your application using the link below, we will contact you about scheduling a tour and joining us for one of our shared meals - a chance to connect and ask questions as well as to view and get details on the available rooms.
    

2. If you decide that you are interested in joining us, let our house Membership Lead know that you are interested.
   
   Our Operations Professional staff will perform a background check and verify that your income meets our requirement that you have an income of 3 times the room rent rate.
   
   Once that clears our Membership Lead will invite you to a house meeting where you can ask questions, learn more, and indicate that you would like the house to vote on your candidacy as a member.
    

3. The house resident members will vote and our Operations Professional will inform you of the outcome. If voted in, our Operations Professional will coordinate with you a time for lease and community agreements signing, getting your keys, and details on the next steps of our orientation and on-boarding process.
    

GRACC does not charge an application fee.
