At the Grand Rapids Alliance of Cooperative Communities (GRACC), we believe that a thriving community is much like a healthy ecosphere—diverse, interconnected, and mutually supportive. If your nonprofit, community group, or co-operative is interested in partnering with GRACC, share your partnering idea with us.
Based on mission aligned objectives, GRACC is in partnership with the following organizations so that we can amplify our reach, share vital resources, and create a more resilient landscape for the causes we cooperatively champion.
GRACC is a Platinum Level supporter of the Grand Rapids Food Coop which is working to build a cooperative grocery store that responds to the needs of our community, contributes to a sustainable local food web, promotes cooperative values, and serves as a long-term investment in our local economy.

In the cooperative housing world, GUFF is an acronym that originally stood for General Use Free Food. Over time, the term has expanded to represent "General Use Free stuff" or simply shared household goods. GUFF is essentially the embodiment of goodwill and mutual aid within a co-op, building upon our culture of sharing. Members donate gently used items they do not need to the GUFF area for other members who may need the item. Periodically, GUFF gets full and we share the items with the Really Really Free Market for anyone in our wider community who might need them.
