Preserving Our Home: Historic Home Stewardship
For nearly 15 years, our physical home has been the heart of our community. It is where we gather, organize, and build a more resilient future together. But keeping a shared historic space safe, operational, and welcoming takes ongoing care and active stewardship. As we look ahead to our 15th-year anniversary on October 11, 2027, we are launching this campaign to fund the critical care our building needs to stand strong for the next generation.
Last year alone, we invested $30,000 in vital repairs and property preservation. This year, our priorities include time-sensitive porch restoration and soffit repair, storm-damaged tree removal and trimming, and dozens of smaller fixes — from wall and ceiling patching to window glazing and bathroom tile repair — that keep our home safe and welcoming. While routine maintenance isn't always glamorous, it is the absolute foundation that keeps our doors open and our mission moving forward
